Weddings

One of the great joys at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church is the celebration of Christian marriage. Our beautiful sanctuary is available for both members, non-members, and people of all genders. It provides a warm and welcoming backdrop to any service of Christian marriage, large or small.

A Christian wedding service, unlike a civil one, is a worship service, meaning the focus is on God. During a marriage service, the couple hears again the understandings and obligations of Christian marriage, and then, by exchanging vows and rings, they willingly enter into a lifelong commitment to fulfill them.
