Become a Member!
We take the commitment to a spiritual home seriously. All people are welcome to participate in any aspect of the church’s life without becoming a member, with the exception of participating in the governance and being a deacon. Also, by Presbyterian polity, we only baptize the children of those who have made a commitment to membership.
Our Membership Process is at your pace; it can be done in as little as a month or over 2 years.
How to Make it Happen
We ask that you:
Attend worship (at least 5 times – we also have recordings on our Facebook page)
Attend new member class or meet with a pastor.
Contribute financially by making a pledge (ANY amount is fine – this is a spiritual commitment to working for the “beloved community” that MLK Jr. reminds us is God’s desire for our world)
Making it Official
On the day you are received into membership:
You will meet with the church’s governing board (the Session) an hour before church.
You will attend 10:00 am worship and profess or reaffirm your faith.

Our Goals
You build connections in the CCPC community that are correlated to your long-term personal health; this social capital becomes a resource to equip you for resiliency in a chaotic world.
You have a sense for what CCPC stands for, what it believes, and where it’s going.
You pledge yourself to action by aligning your life to the justice-seeking ways of God’s kingdom that we see most clearly in the person of Jesus.
