Adult Recurring Events

Faith Trek is an evolving group of CCPC adults who explore current issues and their own faith by discussing theologically-inspired writing. Members suggest and choose books that range from revisiting Paul to encountering contemporary thinkers. The circle would be delighted to have you share your insights around our table. Contact Allen Blakey (703-622-3886) for more information.

The Wednesday Circle, which meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in CCPC’s Geneva Hall, grew out of two circles that had met over many years. As the members grew older and it became difficult to meet in members’ homes, the Wednesday Night Circle merged with Circle 11, and invited other women to join as well. Presently, there are 12-15 members who meet for fellowship, devotionals, and a brief program designed to get to know each other better. Each year, usually around Christmas, the Circle contributes the bulk of its dues to one or more charities. Leadership of the group rotates. The current co-leaders are Elizabeth King (301.318.2694) and Julie Haifley (202.557.0341).
