KEVIN PATON-COLE

Kevin is an African American organist and bass-baritone, who studied music at the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute earning both a Bachelors and Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance, Vocal Pedagogy, and Organ Performance. He is currently a Baltimore American Guild of Organist Scholar for the second year in a row, and studies organ performance with renowned concert organist Marvin Mills. Kevin is the Organist and Choral Director at Saint John Neumann Catholic Church, Gaithersburg, MD, where he also serves as director of music and liturgy. His experience as a Church musician spans over 20 years having started his service as a young choirboy at the early age of 11. Kevin’s teachers include world-renowned American baritone William Sharp for voice, Dr. Daniel Aune for organ performance, Dr. John Walker for choral conducting, and Dr. Harlan D.Parker for orchestral conducting, to name a few.
