DAVID BEATTY

Holding degrees in physics and music, David Beatty is currently employed in the defense industry. His principal organ instructors have been Raymond Ocock, David Drinkwater, and Gerre Hancock. His prior church music posts include organist for the Kirkpatrick Chapel of Rutgers University, Director of Music at the First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, Organist at Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, Organist/Choirmaster at St. Martin’s-in-the-Field (Severna Park), and Organist at Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis. In addition, he has served the American Guild of Organists as Dean of Philadelphia and Annapolis Chapters, National Convention Registrar, and District Convener.
