REV. Adele Crawford
Temporary Associate Pastor
The Rev. Adele Crawford was ordained to ministry in 2009 after a successful career in opera, one which took her to stages around the US, Europe and the Middle East and included four seasons as a principal artist at The Metropolitan Opera. A graduate of The University of Michigan School of Music (BMus and MMus) and Yale Divinity School (MDiv), she has served congregations in Connecticut and Maryland, and was the Interim Dean of Chapel at Yale. She is proud to be the fourth generation of pastors in her family. Adele takes seriously her ordination vow to serve the Church with “energy, intelligence, imagination and love!” In her spare time, Adele loves to hike or walk, work in her garden, share a glass of wine or beer with friends, read, attend concerts or the theater, and travel.
